2009 Floral City Heritage Day December 4th, 5th and 6th Floral City
Friday Night, Dec. 4th & Saturday, December 5th 2009 Sunday, December 6th, 2009 Friday Night: 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. Old Fashion Fish Fry, horse-drawn Wagon rides, caroling and music. Walk under century old oaks among 1,000 Luminarias (sacks with candles) Museum and “Country Store” open.

Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Blue Banner Tour of Historic Homes Features Centennial of Historic Tooke- Spivey House and the 125th Anniversary Of the “Avenue of Oaks” Six private Homesand additional buildings for a $10.00 Tour Ticket. Music on 2 Stages Demonstrators Wagon shuttle rides, two stages of acoustic music, demonstrations of early Florida daily living skills, museum, Model “A’s” other exhibits and parking; all for no charge. “Country Store” open, Roasted Pig and BBQ Chicken dinners,and other country foods offered.
The annual Floral City Heritage Days Heritage Days begins on Friday evening with the traditional “Candles ‘N’ Carols” and the now famous Old Fashion Fish Fry Doors open to the historic, lime rock, Floral City Community Building at 5:00 p.m. for the “all-you-can-eat” affair.
